digital bva242 - TRANSITION
So I took the 4 images, one with Burgundy dress, white nightie, skeleton and then dress being held in air.
I tried several different ways. First I had female on the bed on cut out skeleton and merged it into her skin, but it didn't look right. So I slept on it and started again. So I cut out the dress and placed it over the skeleton. I added the arms in separate layers so I could get the proportions correct. I had her hair in different layers and placed the skeletons face over hers and broke it down to eyes, nose etc, so I could get the proportions correct on her face and then adjusted the opaque levels.
I then blended it all to look as if the skeleton was wearing the dress.
I then added the woman and made her floating in the air and used her white dress floating to give it a falling effect. I duplicated the woman in the white dress a couple of times and liquefied the bottom layer and adjusted the opaque levels.
The image reminds me of when someone dies and they transition "their soul" moves on and leaves their body.
layers of how I cut them out and needed to get final image
need extra hair as was missing as she was lying on the pillow
